Our Coturnix Quail
Coturnix quail are fast-growing, efficient birds known for their mild temperament, rapid egg production, and compact size. Perfect for backyard farms and homesteads, these quail mature in just 6-8 weeks and begin laying nutritious, speckled eggs almost daily. They’re quiet, low-maintenance, and thrive in small spaces—making them ideal for beginners and urban poultry keepers. Whether you're raising them for eggs, meat, or as educational pets, Coturnix quail offer a rewarding and sustainable way to enjoy poultry on a smaller scale.
We have both Japanese Pharaoh and Red Range and Red Range Tuxedo Celadon. This Pharaoh is a clean line meaning that it is free of all plumage mutations. The most exciting part is that some of them carry the Celadon eggshell gene. Some of my Pharaoh hens lay gorgeous speckled blue eggs. This is perfect for someone looking to make a new autosexed line of Celadons. On the other hand, Red Range which is gorgeous provide quality true blue eggs. All offspring from this line will lay blue eggs. The most exciting thing of all that they breed true as well. Chicks will hatch in Red Range, Red Range Tuxedo, and English White. We ship fertile eggs. Local pick up only for chicks.
Use the dropdown menu to select the chick you want by color. Minimum purchase of 5 chicks. Price per chick is $3 from day old through 2 weeks only. Chicks must be picked up locally. Our Hatching Egg Order Policy
All hatching eggs are pre-orders. Minimum order of 12 eggs. Please choose best fulfillment based on your size order. We will use USPS for shipping quail eggs as it would be the most economical for you; however, if you prefer Fedex, just select the service during check out. Current shipping charge for orders shipped via Fedex 2nd day air is $40, no matter how small your order is. When ordering hatching eggs, please factor in the number of eggs that may not develop nor hatch; please be also mindful of the ratio of males vs. females you might get. Due to factors beyond our control (hatching techniques, humidity, weather, carrier handling) we cannot be held responsible for eggs that don't develop or poor hatch rates. There are no refunds nor replacement for eggs that don't hatch. Please note that just because an egg does not develop, it does not mean it is infertile. There is only one way to know if an egg is fertile and unfortunately, that means breaking the egg open to look for the white spot, which is the germinal disk. (looks like a donut!!) You will see a yellow hole in the center and there would indicate that the egg is fertile. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE HATCH RATES OUTSIDE OUR FARM. Avoid counting your chicks before they hatch!! We do not offer eggs from any breed that we have not successfully hatched ourselves. We scrutinize the eggs we sell. We only sell and send the freshest eggs collected within a max of 72 hour collection, kept under appropriate temperature and turned frequently throughout the day. The eggs we pack for you will be free of any deformities and defects. Please be advised we may delay or postpone shipping during the extremely excessive hot summer days.Due to holiday hush, we will not ship between 11/17/25 and 1/5/2026.
