Coturnix Quail Grow-outs
These are 3-5 week chicks that no longer require heat (at least not here in Florida ). The vent sexed ones may not be able to be gender identified until 4-5 weeks when the males start to produce a white foam and crow. With proper nutrition, housing, required day light, females can start laying as early as 6 weeks. For best, tender meat, quails should be processed between 6-10 weeks. Males are $7 each and females are $13 each up to 6 weeks of age. To purchase, use the dropdown menu to select the color and gender to add to the cart.
