Kingpin Dachshunds

Our journey with Doxies began in 2017. Our youngest daughter, Savanna wrote such a cute little note to us requesting a dachshund for her birthday or Christmas, I can't recall the occasion, but the note was so cute and heartfelt, I could not turn her down. I began searching for a reputable breeder. One of my high quality chicken sellers recommended a prestigious breeder down in South Florida, so I got in touch with him and few months later, we brought our beloved Andy home.

It did not take a few days for us to completely fall in love with the little buggar. Lol!! Andy was much more than a dog. He was a beloved family member, my husband's teddy bear that helped him through the toughest times, such as the passing of my father in law. Andy was the joy in the midst of grief and sorrow for the loss of a beloved family member.

Sadly, a terrible accident in front of our gate ended Andy's life. My husband never lost sight of him, but on that fateful morning, he got sidetracked and Andy walked outside in the front yard by himself, slipped under the gate and got ran over by a car. That was when we realized we had not just lost a dog, or a pet. We had lost another family member. We grieved Andy's loss for several months. We then realized we could not have just one Doxie:-).

Several months later, we acquired Rusty, Molly, Penny, and Bailey. We watch them like hawks. They live with us in our home and sleep on our beds. They are not our dogs, but family members. We put their needs and well being before ours. Our doxies are purebread with limited AKC registration and full CKC registration. This means their puppies won't be eligible for AKC registration, but will be eligible for full CKC registration.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE ADOPTING A DOXIE FROM US

We do not ship puppies. They must be picked up locally. Ideally we like to meet applicants in person at our residence/farm. After you choose your puppy and pay the deposit of $300 to reserve the puppy you have chosen, we schedule an appointment for you to come and see your puppy before it goes home at around 7 or 8 weeks (it depends on our Veterinarian). We usually prefer to schedule Saturday appointments as both my husband and I work full time jobs during the week. The remaining balance is paid in cash on the day it is scheduled and agreed upon for your puppy to go home.

We do not schedule PUPPY appointment without deposit!

Weekly puppy updates are posted on our private Facebook group Kingpin Doxies for all parents who have joined the group. Puppies go home with their first round of shots, microchipped, and pre-spoiled! Parents receive a puppy bag containing records of pedigree , CKC application form, and lifetime microchip registration form that is absolutely free of cost to the buyer, among other goodies that we prepare with love and care.

We reserve the right to not respond to messages from people who writes us to simply ask the price! You can't put a price on a dog, much less on a Doxie!! A Doxie is not just a pet. If you are looking for just a pet, consider rescuing one from the dog pound or dog rescue. Our doxies are not "just a pet" to us. They are family!! We care about where they are going to live and how they are going to live. Behind every puppy, there is a BREEDER, which differs from a pet factory or puppy mill. A reputable breeder does not breed dogs without papers, that does not preserve the integrity of the breed. Registration affords the puppy owner immediate access to the puppies records of lineage. With that, one can research any possible health issues present in the bloodline. When you tell me you don't care about papers; that all you want is a pet, you are telling me you don't care about the health of the puppy.

When you decide to reserve a puppy from a reputable breeder, you understand that this breeder is responsible for every dog they own and every pup they’ve sold for its lifetime. You understand that this breeder skip holydays, uninterrupted nights of sleep, and most of their personal space, which is owned by his/her dogs. Reputable breeders put their heart and soul into the dogs they breed, the puppies that are rehomed, but also in each client who inherits a piece of their heart and now becomes a member of the extended family.

This does not take into account any emergencies that may occur from time to time.

Passionate breeders like us live for the wellbeing and safety of the animals they breed. They continue to be a resource and love their babies long after they go to their forever homes and would still take one back without a question.

A breeder will get their hands dirty. A breeder will do tests, echos, xrays, analysis, emergency c- sections, vaccinations, research pedigrees, deworm, as well as microchip
their puppies and get them evaluated by specialists.
Lastly, a breeder CHOOSES the family lucky enough to have one of
their puppies. Yes, you read that right!! A true breeder chooses who they sell to because
they are not making money off the sale. There is no compensation that can offset the time and effort that is put into raising and breeding a dog.

In our view, a doxie is never “just a pet” it’s a piece of our heart, a child's best friend, a

little girls protector, an elderly person's therapy, a member of the family, someone’s pride and joy!!
